Modelos de crescimento com restrição no balanço de pagamentos: contexto histórico, desdobramentos recentes e a busca por uma nova agenda
Abstract
O objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma resenha sobre o modelo de crescimento com restrição no balanço de pagamentos. O artigo apresenta os antecedentes históricos do modelo, seus desdobramentos mais recentes, críticas e argumentos de defesa correspondentes, e sugere possíveis agendas de pesquisa futura. Dada a escassez de literatura sobre o tema em português, o presente trabalho também pode servir como um guia didático de leitura com o objetivo de apresentar e difundir o modelo aqui discutido para um público mais amplo em território nacional.
